I am a director of research
at INRIA and the director of the newly
created Atlas (Atlantic Data Systems) research group at INRIA-Rennes and
located at IRIN, Nantes. Atlas deals with the management of complex data in
distributed systems.
I am the general chair of the 2004 ACM SIGMOD
International Conference which will be held in Paris, 13-18 June 2004.
